Custom Raised Garden Beds Designed for Your Space
Why Choose Raised Garden Beds?
Better Accessibility
Our garden beds can be made anywhere from 300 to 800mm off the ground, making them much easier on your back and knees. This height is ideal for anyone wanting to spend more time growing organic fruit and veggies—without the aches.
Total Control Over Soil
Raised beds give you the opportunity to create the perfect growing conditions. You can start fresh with high-quality soil, rich in nutrients and trace minerals—an especially smart choice if your ground soil is poor or contaminated.
Reclaim Unused Spaces
Got a concrete courtyard or paved area with great sun exposure? No problem. Raised beds can be installed directly over hard surfaces—no demolition required—turning underused areas into lush, productive gardens.
Beautiful and Built to Last
From natural timber garden beds to sturdy stone or Brick garden beds, our materials bring style and structure to your landscape. A well-crafted bed can add real charm to your garden design.
Wicking Bed Ready
Want to save water and make gardening even easier? We can convert any of our raised beds into a wicking bed—a self-watering system that helps your garden thrive, even in dry months.
What is a Wicking Bed?
A wicking bed is a clever self-watering system with a reservoir built into the base. Water slowly travels upward from the reservoir into the soil using capillary action—keeping moisture levels steady and reducing the need for frequent watering.
Benefits of Wicking Beds:
- Moisture is balanced—no overwatering or drying out.
- Less time spent watering, more time enjoying your garden.
- Great water efficiency—no evaporation or runoff.
- Healthier, happier plants!
At Tierra Projects, we only use WaterUps wicking cells, a high-performance system that maximises wicking efficiency and promotes strong, consistent plant growth. For more information read our blog post about [Wicking beds].
Choose a Cypress Pine Raised Garden Bed
We offer a range of cypress pine timber garden beds, custom-built and installed onsite by a friendly team of garden bed installation experts. Cypress pine or white Cypress (Callitris spp) is naturally termite- and rot-resistant for up to 15 to 20 years—unlike treated pine, which is often chemically treated with copper, chromium, and arsenic.
All beds come roughly sanded, oiled with a natural oil, a 140mm wide capping timber and filled with a premium vegetable garden mix and soil amendments. Here are our standard sizes and pricing:
